Salt Lake City detective’s good deed dealing with a homeless man goes viral

If there is one good deal reporting news that the national media decides not to have on television and radio, it is the social media site Facebook did gets a bad rap from critics due to their bias on reporting the views of the conservative side of the political arena.

Jonathan Allen was sitting inside a restaurant in Salt Lake City Utah last week when he witnessed a Salt Lake City Utah detective who was seen assisting a homeless man who was going through garbage cans outside of a restaurant when Jonathan decided to use his right to take pictures of Detective Overman deciding to land a helping hand to the homeless man.

Jonathan remembers seeing Detective Overman offering his services to the homeless man to come inside the restaurant and buy the homeless man a hot dog so the homeless man could have something to eat that is healthy instead of eating rotten food from the garbage cans.

When Jonathan posted the act of compassion on the part of Detective Overman buying the hungry homeless man a hot dog on Facebook, the response from the viewers of that story were very positive not only on Jonathan’s page, it was a huge hit and boost of good morale to the police officers of the Salt Lake City who enjoyed the actions of Detective Overman of doing his duty to buy a hot dog for a homeless man..
