Rotting Wood Watercolor

Rotting Wood Watercolor

Take your paint and tablet everywhere with you.  You never know when inspiration will hit.  Opportunities for creativity are around every bend.  If you don’t take paper and pencil with you, at least take a camera.

I was at the local lake and saw this rotting piece of driftwood.  It had remarkable texture and pathos.  It screamed, “I’ve been through a lot.”  I couldn’t resist pulling out my little tablet and travel kit paints to capture it right there.  Whenever you can capture moments.  You’ll always have them to look back on and use in other creations.  The watermark Dancing Paintbrush is mine.
