Rodin at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal

Auguste Rodin was a French sculpturist born in 1840 in Paris and died in 1917. He was the founder of the abstract sculptural movement and was famous for his non-classically posed figures such as “The Thinker”.  I was surprised and happy to find a sculpture by him in the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal (Montreal Museum of Fine Arts) here in Montreal, Canada.
