My photo for June 19th is of a sailing boat for tourists called the Kajama. It is lovely to enjoy a boat ride on a hot summer day. I sailed aboard this ship about 5 years ago and it was a pleasant experience. I am hoping to sail again this summer but you always have to wait in a huge lineup to get a chance to go on a one hour boat ride.
This ship reminds of a pirate ship, or something out of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
That is a long time to wait for a boat ride. Does it come with a crew that “drives” it for you or do you have to know how to sail to take it out? I rented a small boat at a lake once and I didn’t know zip, but we had fun. The only tricky part was figuring out how to dock the boat by the floating toilet.
It seems very cool and fun!
