My Personal Guidelines

It is important to follow the rules and many can’t even agree on the rules. Currently, on this site, the help section needs to update, even just to stop the speculate! (I stopped typing because I liked the rhyme it made me laugh)

With that being said, most of us have some strict personal guidelines and standards. Now that editing is an option I have noticed a new trend.  I am choosing to put a notice on the posts that I am editing to let others know why. I believe it is the correct, responsible thing to do.  Here is what I am using. I don’t think Virily has to make a rule.

*This is an edited post. It was edited because of spelling, grammar, punctuation or functionality.”

I think we are all responsible enough to know that simply editing to move a post to the top is not what edit was granted for.

  1. I like having an option to edit posts. Almost half of my older posts have missed photos, and no matter what other members think, I will edit them, but only one a day not to abuse anyone. Those who don’t like edited posts can pass by, but honestly, those posts without photos look weird.
