Marion County Deputy is a hero for saving the life of an infant

The life of being a police officer is basically a 24 hour work since a police officer will be called by a stranger to assist them in their time of need.

This past Wednesday, Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy Jeremie Nix who was on his way home after he finished his shift.

A lady was able to grab the attention of Deputy Nix at a traffic stop that she needed the help of Officer Nix since her three month old boy named Kingston.

Kingston had stopped breathing. Officer Nix then attempted to use CPR to revive the boy. When that failed, Officer Nix told the mother of Kingston to follow him to the Ocala Regional Medical Center so the doctors would attend the child to make him feel better.

Officer Nix took the child to an emergency room where the doctors attended Kingston who at this time was not had not recovered from his health scare.

The mother of Kingston is grateful that Officer Nix was sent by God himself to save her three month old boy from buying the farm last Thursday in Ocala Florida.

Kingston is expected to make a full recover from his brush with death last Thursday thanks to the alertness and kindness of Officer Nix to perform his duty to serve and protect people in his community.

    • I was really impressed with Officer Nix taking care of the young boy who needed his help as well as his mom who needed someone to assist her child to breathe again after he passed out.
