If you have an LPG connection, you may be aware that it’s mandatory to link your Aadhaar to LPG to receive the subsidy. Quick Steps to Help you Link Aadhaar to LPG Online:
Step 1)
The first that you will need to is – visit the page/URL https://rasf.uidai.gov.in/seeding/User/ResidentSplash.aspx
Once you land on the above URL, select the ‘Start Now’ option
While filling the form you will ask the following information to fill.
Provide the following information – enter your location of the address, you will need to select your state and district in this section
Step 2)
Once you provide details of your address such as state and district, you will then need to opt for your type of benefit
Under this, you should select LPG. After you select the benefit type as the LPG, the page will showcase three leading companies offering LPG connections in the country.
The showcased three major oil companies will be:
- Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) – Bharat Gas
- Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) – Indane Gas
- Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) – HP Gas
After you pick up an Oil company name as per the connection that you may have, you will then be prompted to select your distributor from the drop-down list.
Next up will be entering your consumer number. You can find your LPG consumer number given to you at the time of subscribing to the LPG service. It would also be printed in your LPG passbook. Find it and enter the LPG consumer number.
As soon as you enter your LPG consumer number, you will see your name. Confirm if it’s your right name or not.
Step 3)
The next thing will be providing some of your details which you provided while enrolling for the Aadhaar Card.
Once you enter your details (enter your Aadhaar number), you will receive the One-Time Password or the OTP on your
- Registered email ID, and
- Registered mobile number
If you don’t have aadhaar number you can apply it for online. You will get aadhaar card from official website of UIDAI.
Step 4)
The last and final step is verification and you will need to enter:
- OTP – Enter the One-Time Password that you receive via the text message or your registered mobile number or via a mail on your registered email ID
- Captcha – Just where you need to enter the OTP, there will be a Captcha displayed which will be a mixture of alphabets and words or what is called as the alphanumeric. Enter the showcased Captcha manually in the blank box next to the box where you put the OTP.
- Click the ‘Submit’ button and your process is complete
Once you follow the above process, your request to link Aadhaar to LPG will get approved within few days after verification.
