Let’s Talk About Those Cards

If you are confused, you can read the beginning of the experience here. When I got home I took the pack of cards out and they were all quotes by Brené Brown.

I read through a couple of them and did a little pondering. I wondered if the person had given the same quotes to the pharmacist. (Normal people wouldn’t have given it another thought, but we all know I am not normal.)  So I went by the pharmacy and we compared. We were given the same number of quotes, by the same author, but the pharmacist had some extra handwritten comments on the back of hers. Mine were just the quotes. The quotes were different, at the least the first few that we compared.

Since pictures seem to go away or you must hit the source button to see them, I will limit any of them I talk about to just two in a post. (Unless of course, Doc corrects me and teaches me something new.)

Here were the first two quotes in my pack.

I have not seen the woman again. It is likely I will if she comes to the pharmacy often because two days don’t seem to go by that something doesn’t change with someone and now adding one more person should make it an interesting adventure!

Are you curious why some stranger would do this?

    • I found out. She ran into me in the store. She says she is an empath and can recognize a sad soul and chooses to reach out. So I guess because I am an apparent sad sack I get these treasures. Score!
