LE SAINT Ceneri Gere 

on the river in Sarthe Mancelles Alps, in Normandy, lies the beautiful French village. It was founded by Saint Ceneri, an Italian monk who was built in the seventh century monastery. They later burned by the Normans, but the church from the 11th century on the site remains, a roof and a tower topped a tree. Inside the church have been recently restored murals from the 12th century. Beautiful houses around the church and along the river have been preserved, as well as the chapel of the 15th century. The village has inspired many artists, including Camille Corot and Eugene Boudin. Their works are exhibited in the museum Auberge des Soeurs Moisi. The village is famous and beautiful botanical garden Les Jardins de la Mansonière.
