I've Had a Lot On My Mind

I can’t say that I am thrilled with the times in which I am living. I listen to the news and can’t find any facts and thousands of opinions. I don’t live in big city and don’t want people who live in a big city to determine my needs. I am concerned for my way of life, my heritage and my family. We hold our beliefs strong.

Hear me.

This may or may not work for many of you. It would be great if you let me know if you could hear me. The Pow Wow is fast approaching and much is to be done. It is joyful and stressful as we have to come to terms with what was, what is, and what will come.

I desire peace and what I see all around me is anger. How did we get to this?

truth is hard to seek with everyone having their say and playing judge …
sometimes we just believe in yourself …

  2. I dwell on the serenity prayer. We should accept the things we can not change, and change the things we can. The prayer is about acceptance, and the wisdom to know the difference.

  3. Do not,
go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the passing of the light.

Dylan Thomas, the Welsh poet, argued in another time of great darkness that we should fight the darkness. We should fight against accepting the bad.

There is great hope for tomorrow. There is great joy to be found!

  4. Unfortunately, it is so everywhere in the world, dear friend … the sooner we come to terms with it, the easier it will be to live … there is no other solution … unfortunately it is so and nothing can be changed

  5. The world is nothing like it was when I was growing up. We were more secure, no real fears other than possibly a nuclear war (we used to have drills for a nuclear explosion). People were more considerate and kind. Children were polite and had respect. It will never be the same again.
