Rice fields spread across the slopes of Ifugao region in the Philippines. Supposedly built entirely by hand, stone and mud terraces on the incredibly steep slopes, irrigated with mountain streams and springs. During the harvest season in the villages of Banaue and Batad, when the rice plants brightest green, the entire valley was bathed in sunlight
