My gym: How can I not be grateful to have a gym that only cost $15, yet has everything that I need to aid in keeping me in shape throughout the year.
Impatient drivers: Their impatience makes me grateful that I left out at a reasonable time so that I do not have to rush like them. It also makes me alert while driving because I never want to be in an accident with someone who appears to give two craps about the safety of others.
Extra unneeded work hours: This is one that I tend to complain about a lot, especially on those off work days when I have other things planned. I try to keep in mind that working extra hours means that my pay check will be higher in the upcoming weeks.
The agency I am interning at: I am grateful for this agency because if I would not have found it, I would have dropped another semester. And I love the agency because I am surrounded by people with different experiences, as well as them being spiritual.
FASFA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid): I registered for my FASFA early at the beginning of the semester, and received a pell grant near mid-term which came in handy after I cut down my work hours due to internship. The FASFA has also assisted me with purchasing my books at times when prices were costly.
I'm a military veteran, a Direct Support Professional for adults with disabilities, and a college student pursuing a career as a substance abuse counselor. Outside of that I'm a runner, cyclist, blogger, writer, and fashion lover. I fell in love with writing during my second semester of college, and have found joy's in expressing myself with it.
