Hidden Poets

I am back to my favorite format….the Hidden Series….this time you have to find poets in the sentences.

For those who might be new to this type of puzzle, hidden in these sentences are names of poets. The sentences are not clues to be solved but you have to look at the words carefully to discover the name of a poet hidden within them.

Discover the names and post them in comments but do not look at the answers submitted by other people before trying on your own.

As a challenge try to post one puzzle sentence with a hidden poet for the next person to solve.

Good luck!

  1. The pub “Lake View” is very popular among the locals.
  2. Philip opened his innings with a glorious cover drive.
  3. Do you think Japanese culture is highlighted by Ronin movies?
  4. The doctors were told not to prescribe drugs, such as verapamil to new patients.
  5. The chemical compound chlordan tends to be toxic in
  6. You can get new hair dye at saloon.

  1. Let me give you an example….look at this sentence

I ran as fast as I could. Look at the first two words…I ran…put them together, you will get Itan. So I have hidden a country’s name in this sentence.

Similarly, The Raja panicked when he saw the approaching army. If you look at the second and third word…Raja panicked….you can see tje hidden country’s name…Japan

    I hope this helps..

And thank you for the warm welcome.
