I really don’t understand adults thinking that dumping water on police officers can be helpful as any kind of protest. They look and act like unruly children. I have to say the officers showed great restraint. I am not out here “in the sticks” if they would have ignore the behavior. I am guessing they assumed it was a no win situation and they took the high road.
So to those who think this is cute, funny, or helpful in anyway I say,”Grow up and be a responsible member of society.” I would also say you probably don’t want to try this in a rural area, I don’t believe that many would ignore you. Even if the police took the high road, it’s likely out here the citizens would have gotten involved. I am not saying it’s correct. I am saying it’s a reality.
This kind of behaviour has gone out of control and what with guns that are seen at the drop of a hat.
Kids used to pull little, harmless pranks. Throwing water on a police officer is just plain igorant.
