GREEN SCHOOLS

In the competition for design schools in the Indian city of Pune, the company NUDES presented the winning paper entitled Forest (Forest), which is based on five principles: growth, learning, recycling, planting and playing. The building is designed as two green cylinder that are in the area of the roof connected to a bicycle route in the form of the symbol of infinity, without a clearly defined beginning and end. It can also be used for workshops, student exhibitions and markets, as well as for other forms of recreation. Atriums inside two cylindrical units provide enough light and natural ventilation and are used as common areas for socializing. Green facades should be to provide cleaner air for the pupils, but also to contribute to a healthier living environment.
