 Gordes small village situated on a hilltop Monts de Vaucluse. Inhabited since Roman times, Gordes is a typical Provencal village with a Mediterranean climate and a slower pace of life, ideal for a relaxing holiday. The narrow cobblestone streets are filled with stone houses and the charm of the village attracted artists such as Andre Lhote, Marc Chagall, Victor Vasarely, Pol Mar, Jean Deyrolle, Serge Poliakoff, who contributed to his fame.
