The Greeks say that God was very generous in giving Thassos nature. One of the most beautiful natural gifts is the rock pool, Giola.
Giola is 4 km from a place called Astris on Thassos Island in Greece.
According to legend, Giola represents the eye of Zeus (Zeus’s eye) by which he supervised his mistress.
Natural pool, all right, but it looks scary to swim there.
