Isaiah 55:8- “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
The words play over and over again in your mind, “You’r going to be an angel soon…”
It’s always in the back of your mind as you are living this never ending nightmare. Deep down, you know that this was not what you wanted your life to be like.
Constantly walking on eggshells, listening to the constant reminders: “You are nothing with out me!” “No one else won’t ever want you…” “You’re all washed up!”
All this time, just wanting love and acceptance, you learned to smile through the pain. You succumb to remain an empty shell of who you once were. I understand your reluctance to stand up and fight. I understand you losing faith in your creator, cursing them as to why this has happened to you.
I was that scared girl, ashamed to let people know anything. Everything was fine, at least on the surface. I was too scared to ask for help. I had to get out and I knew it.
I got on my knees and I began to pray, and the answer was shown to me in a Bible verse (Isaiah 55:8). I applied that to my situation as was able to break my children and I free.
As it was one of the scariest points of my life, I am here to tell any person who is afraid to stand up and fight, I am holding your hand, for you are NOT alone.
The more of us that unite, we become stronger in numbers.
