From My Heart ~ Please Don't Trample It

My mom often said garbage in, garbage out. Today after reading a bit and looking at the advertisements, comments, and endless arguing and finger-pointing, I thought, is this really where we are? Is this what this site is about?  No matter what I do or don’t do, say or don’t say the reaction is the same and it’s sad. No one should be forced to defend their ideas, perceptions, and values. There are many great people here who have wonderful things to share. 

I hope kind and reasonable people come here and enjoy the site. As for me, it’s time to take a break. I don’t need to see people turn normal hopeful posts into drama. I don’t need to see people turn on dime because they have a different opinion. How long will the break be? I don’t know. I just know that the earth revolves around the sun, not any particular person or persons. I know that kindness is the key to understanding. I know that many respectful conversations can take place in messaging as people learn to understand each other. The key is that people have to want that.

I am not sure about where you live, but here we have a lot going on. The need to pull together and take care of each other has never been stronger in my lifetime. I don’t hate anyone. I don’t hate liars, I hate lying.I don’t hate bullies, I hate bullying.  I do hate raisins. I really do.

 People can change and often do. I would encourage others to be displeased with behaviors, and not hate people.
