I was excited with the recent updates that allowed us to “Edit” our posts. However, I found that I was not able to “Edit” posts with “Embed” links in them. For example, in the post “Christmas Season (pictured below), the “Edit” feature is not available, and although the “thumbnail” image implies that the video link is still available, this is not the case.
If you were to follow the link in this post, you would see that the “link” to Christmas Season is broken.
While the text is still present, the link (circled in red) to the video is no longer working. These broken or inaccurate links do not reflect well on either myself or Virily, so I was attempting to go back and fix them. Since I couldn’t “Edit” them, I was deleting the old post which contained the broken link and creating a new post which contained an updated, working link.
After the changes made this weekend, the “Delete” function is no longer working. How do I go about fixing old, broken links?
I had no idea about it, I hope this issue gets fixed soon.
