Escambia Sheriff Deputies save a puppy who was trapped inside an auto

I am just starting to wonder if some dog owners realize that puppies have feelings as well as humans when it comes to being trapped inside an auto when the temperature outside is over 90 degrees Fahrenheit?

Evidently the owner of a puppy who allegedly decided not to give his puppy dog some fresh air by keeping at least one window open to let some air inside his auto decided to go shopping at Sears last Saturday in Pensacola Florida.

Thanks to a concerned citizen who made an emergency call to contact the local police to inform them that a puppy was panting heavily which could have been fatal to the puppy.

Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Matheny and his trainee Deputy Waters arrived at the parking lot in Sears to do their duty to say the puppy from certain death by trying to locate the owner.

When they failed to bear fruit, Deputy Matheny broke open the window of the auto while Deputy Waters gave the puppy water to cool the puppy after her partner rescued the puppy.

Then the two deputies took the puppy to a tree so she could recover after her brush with death. When the owner arrived to his auto, the two deputies arrested William Sparkman, 25, on charges of animal cruelty. The puppy whose name was not mentioned was taken by animal control officials to an animal shelter so she can recover from her ordeal.

Hopefully William will think twice of leaving anyone inside his auto without any windows open in the future since none of us has the super power of Marvel super hero the Iceman.
