 Epidaurus is one of the most important ancient sites in Greece. Located in the eastern Peloponnese, 62km south of the Corinth Canal and belongs to the Prefecture of Argolis. Epidaurus is a sanctuary Asclepius, god of healing, son of Apollo. He was the most popular health resort of ancient times, called “Asclepion”.According to myth, Asclepius will appear in their dreams and cure their illnesses. It is assumed that the sanatorium had that status thanks to its numerous thermal springs.
