Decrepitation is a technique for decorating objects or furniture with pieces of paper. In simple terms, the decoration is reduced to the cutting of pieces of paper and their adhesion to the object that we want to decorate. In practice, decoupage is a true art, and for centuries it is used to make ordinary or old objects more beautiful.
This technique is perhaps the most popular today. Paper napkins with different motifs and patterns, bright colors, provide perfect results, i.e. impressive design of your project. Ideal decoration material – cheap, thin, strong and clear colors, so the object decorated with them will look like you have painted it.
If your old furniture or decorative items have lost their original glow, the ideal solution is to decorate decoration with the technique.
The decapage – napkin technique was first described as a technique in the 20th century, although this technique was applied much earlier. This ancient technique came to Europe from China in the 12th century. The Chinese brought it to perfection and with the help of it they decorated various wooden items, lanterns and the like
In addition to being an easy and not so demanding technique, decoupage certainly falls under a lot of cheap hobbies, because we often can use items and napkins we already have to make something new. Since Easter is nearing us, now is the right time to figure out which of these techniques we will paint for eggs. Here’s the decoupage idea.

A great way to decorate. Does it need to have an extra layer on top of it? Layers of varnish on the wooden table for example?
