Crossing guard in North Carolina gets a reward from his community

Wallace Peoples who is a school crossing guard in the Winston-Salem region of North Carolina is admired by the students who attend Sherwood Forest Elementary School due to his bright personality of being kind to people he meets found out when the chips are down, he found out who his friends really do when he went through a physical challenge around the Christmas holidays.

Peoples who has earned the nickname “Mister Peoples” in which some of the students at the elementary admire as a super hero for his work as a crossing guard, went into a slump period of sorts when his auto was in the repair shop with no chance of being useful to ride again.

Mister Peoples had to walk from his home to his workplace which led him to land in a hospital during the Christmas break in 2018. I believe that Wallace may have suffered an illness related to the loss of his auto that he could not drive anymore not to mention the harsh cold winter weather.

The community where Wallace works in decided to round up donation money to purchase Wallace a donated Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) plus $2,5000 dollars when the school season restarted in January 2019.

To put it mildly, Mister Peoples found his works of treating the people that he meets on the streets of the Sherwood Forest Elementary School with class and dignity paid off in getting his reward of being a bright light in the dark world in his work of being a crossing guard.

  1. I have been a Beatles fan around the time of their breakup since my older sisters had a huge collection of their albums in the family home in La Boca Panama.
