Lorraine, a normally serious and sensible woman of fifty joined a message board as if she was a fifteen year old groupie.
What shocked her the most was that the majority of members of the message board were in her age group.
They posted item after item about Sean Pine, the actor who had caught her interest. She joined in the pointless blather.
During the next weeks she would visit the Message Board nearly every day, posting, reading, wallowing in the silliness.
There was a science fiction conference coming up in which he would appear, and the members were all going. And she, who rarely did anything outside of the ‘lines’ decided she would go as well.
