One Christmas I taught the grandkids this song. (They were pretty young then.) By the time they went to see Santa they asked for a hippopotamus. I wrote my letter to Santa and I said that I wanted one too.
As it turned it out, I went to their house very sad and told them there was no hippopotamus under my tree. When they found the last gift it was to the three of us! It was a stuffed hippopotamus who sang the song.
Who doesn’t love Christmas Magic?!
