Christmas is Coming

We do enjoy about every three years making a unique gift for our friends. It makes it a little different and fun. There is a group of about six of us who trade years. The rule is that we have to at least put them together if we don’t make them all by ourselves. This is what we are thinking about this year.

We are "making" wine racks for Christmas for some of our friends. We have been looking high and low for some unique ones that we might be able to make and we don't want to give the same one to anyone. Perhaps you could help out with some opinions. We have a friend who is a pipeliner, what do you think?

I am a little leary of the nails and my husband said "Don't be foolish. If they are old enough to enjoy a glass of wine they can handle nails."

We like the idea of the log. The grapes not so much. We also think the log looks a little plastic. With a little more work I think this one might be great for the cabin.

    I like the log concept minus the grapes It is so practical.
