Celebrity Roses – Dolly Parton

This lovely rose was developed in the home of Joe Winchell, who experiments with roses and grows them in the winter under plant lights. This orange-red hybrid tea rose made its debut in 1984. Dolly Parton thought a wildflower might have been better but was honored to have a rose named after her. These roses grow at her home and at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
