Burned Out but Filled with Wisdom: Day 58 Photo Challenge

Is it realistic to shoot every single day? Mabye it is, maybe it isn’t but what I have learned is to sign up for a challenge is exactly what it is….Challenging. I shot for probably forty days straight and than after that, I’ve been catching up, not with fillers but actually shooting and than filling in gaps.

This is not a give up post either, I’m continuing the process but it’s  not going to be perfectly linear. I will say all photos are immediately recent but the filler is for days I’ve missed filled with current shots.

I have learned so much from this challenge and I thank harpingbyapixie for her original challenge. She is a wonderful thinker and fellow blogger. This challenge has gotten me out of my comfort zone, to shoot things I might not have shot.

I believe the creative muscle becomes more active if you work it constantly. Finding something extraordinary from the mundane has become easier as I continue to search for the next shot. I have gone to more places and been out looking more than ever before and because of this my artistic eye has improved.

A bit of burn out is normal I guess but I am in the process of turning it up again and see what I can find from the mundane. Wish me luck and thanks again for reading my posts.

  1. I know you will be back soon Steve. You always find the beauty in everything. The little things most people miss. Maybe this challenge is exactly what you need for motivation. I hope so. Miss your excellent photography.
