Baxley Georgia elementary school student assisting homeless people

Maddy Williams who is a fourth grader who attends Altamaha School in Baxley Georgia is bright young lady who is using her free time to raise funds for a homeless shelter named the Transitional Living Center (TLC) which opened recently in the area.

Since the Transitional Living Center needs donations as well as some much needed supplies to meet the needs of the homeless in Baxley, Maddy with the assistance of her mother are using the power of Facebook to purchase tee shirts where the money would go to the homeless as well as Maddy making donations of her toys that she has no use for so the homeless children can enjoy during their stay at the homeless center.

Maddy as well as her mother also donate food out of her allowance to keep the homeless center meeting their expenses to keep their business afloat.

The Santina Fryer’s Organization is thankful that people like Maddy and her mother among others in the Baxley area that are doing their part to assist the homeless in the area.

It is nice to see young children doing their part to use their talents as well as social media to help out worthy causes around the world these days.
