Amazing Grace was originally published in 1779 by Englishman John Newton. His life mirrors the song as he evolves from a wretched slave trader to a clergyman and anti-slavery advocate. In 1788, he published an influential anti-slavery work titled “Thoughts Upon the Slave Trade”. In the video above, I add my version of “Amazing Grace” to the hundreds of thousands of adaptations available today. The theme of the video is finding the frequency of Grace.
