So, why is sodium fluoride dangerous? Some side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal issues, muscular weakness, tremors, convulsions, respiratory cardiac failure, and even death.
Notice that the products which have sodium fluoride also have a warning label stating that if swallowed, then they should contact poison control. (I haven’t used Colgate and Crest since 70s and 80s, but I used to forget to brush my teeth when I was young, in which I now realized that that was a good thing).
Furthermore, it is also used as an insecticide. So, the question now is why is something used in insecticide also used in toothpastes and placed in tap water?

Yes, there are quite a lot of other alternatives, which are completely natural but just because we’re not used to it, we’re a bit lazy to get started.
