The headlines said that Kelly Clarkston called for more gun control. I watched the portion that I could find the actually part where she mentioned a call for action. It was reported that she called for more gun control. Perhaps she did say that and if she did that saddens me and makes me angry.
In this most recent case and teenager that clearly had mental health issues as he cheered when he was killing others took the lives of 10 people. Someone should have noticed something and got this young man help. I am not sure who may have seen the signs, parents, friends, teachers, neighbors or strangers. We have to reach out and let professionals know there is a problem and we must follow up. If we don’t solve the core issue there will always be a weapon one can use. No one seems to mention the bombs. I find that odd.

You are absolutely right! I cannot agree more! Action is needed for any kind of success you seek, but especially when one’s looking for changes
Were I an American, I would most certainly want to support any moves towards gun control – we don’t have guns in the UK, other than ones used for very specific purposes, and we don’t have mass shootings.
However, the obvious first move is surely to keep guns out of the hands of people with mental health issues. How could even the NRA object to that?
