Shannon Grimm who is a teacher at Meador Elementary School in Willis Texas is one amazing school teacher who is using her wits to teach her students that bullies will not be tolerated in her classroom.
The method of operation to teach her students not to bully one of her students who is Priscilla Perez was make the tough decision to cut her long hair and have her hairdo to look like Priscilla who was the subject of ridicule because her hairdo looks different from the other students.
What is amazing about the way that Shannon handled this situation which could have serious consequences for Priscilla not being able to being able to be bullied is that by having Shannon get the same hairdo as Priscilla she is telling her “I am on your side.”
The other students at Shannon’s classroom have embraced Priscilla as one of their classmates now thanks to the useful wits of Shannon Grimm using love to defuse a bad scene at her classroom.
In my view Shannon should deserve consideration for “Teacher Of The Year” at Meador Elementary School since in my view school teachers have one of the toughest jobs that does not pay them enough to shape the hearts and minds of our future leaders.
That is sobering to learn that bullies do not realize what their actions will lead to the destruction of their rivals which hurts both parties.
There is also intimidation in our country, but few teachers have a lot of courage to resist bullying.
I know what you mean since the teachers these days are afraid of being attacked by allies of bullies.
That is true since one of their gripes is that they have to teach too many students in one classroom on a minimum wage.

you can’t pay a teacher enough to do such a job, yet they really should try harder to pay her enough

We know that prohibitions are often just like invitations, as are prohibitions on bullying. I think love, caring, and partisanship for the weak are good ways to face that bad behavior.

You are so right. Bully does not know (often don’t want to know or ignore) all the risks and consequences of their actions.
Bullying has always been around. Great teacher to stand up to bullying.
That is true since I know of some students who have killed themselves since no one helped them when they were bullied themselves by their enemies in school or on the internet.
