Rodney Smith Junior, 29, has this not for profit business that is located in Huntsville Alabama called Raising Men Lawn Care Service which is his way to give back to his community by hiring young men and young women to develop labor skills for their future.
Smith will place on his Twitter account what city will he be visiting so he can do yard work for the elderly, disabled, war veterans and others who cannot mow their lawns to their disability or do to old age.
Smith has those to visit all of the 50 states in the United States to mow lawns for the people who cannot afford to hire a lawn cutting service to do the work for them.
It is nice to one man who puts the needs of others like doing yard work for free since Rodney believes that by offering this service, he will be in demand to do this kind of service for people who really need it.
Plus making a friend for life is a very good way to feel happy that serving people will make Rodney and his employees happy that they made a difference in their lives.
So is that actually a business or more properly a charity?
It is basically a charity since he is doing this service since “Cares for his customers”.
I don’t understand how charities can be profitable
I guess the way charities make a profit is that by getting out a good word that the person who runs the business does such a good job, donations are like tips of saying “Good job.”
Some of them only ten cents on the dollar goes to the cause, some of them even less…
Good for him, we need more people like him.
I agree with you Carol DM since Rodney has the right attitude to serve people who are in need of his services and he will receive his reward later on through the good words his business will receive on the social media pages.
