I love turning the calendar page over. I don’t know why, it just means I am a month older and uglier according to my husband, but I still feel like it is an accomplishment. At any rate we have 30 more days to do something good.
Today is “Prepare for Anything Day” in our home. No one can seem to make up their mind what is going to happen the next few days. We are like an airplane circling the airport waiting to run out of fuel. It’s silliness. I have been saying just make a decision, but that is way too simple.
We normally take the grandsons up to Wyoming to catch fish with their hands. It’s an event. Their parents are typically off running another direction. They are not able to tell what they are doing. The boys keep asking if we will take them. I have to keep saying talk to your parents.
There are Indian Relays in Idaho that was our plan b for tomorrow, and we are going to meet friends there next Thursday, so that seems like a lot of travel. It’s still on the books though.
Here is what I must do today.
1. Have a bag packed because I might be going in any direction and that requires stuff tomorrow!
2. Talk to “the parents” and force them to make a decision or a decision will be made for them.
3. Get prepared for work tomorrow, because first on the agenda tomorrow is 5:00am work for four hours.
4. Laundry – there is always laundry.
