WAKE UP!!!!!!

Yeah , Well,.. sticking shutter happens, might as well roll with it. This shot is looking westward up the Gorge from the Southern access side. The peaks in the back are Table Rock, and Hawksbill. Both are visible from any other peak in the range on a clear day, and from most BRP roadside overlooks. The closest is Shortoff Mt, with sections known as The Chimneys, and The Carolina Wall. These are major local rock-climbing areas that have much to offer for every skill level. This was taken from the Pinch-In trail, and had suffered severe wildfire damage in the area a few years before this trip in 2005, where the young conifers are shown in the foreground, showing the green return of life.
