Traf’s Trivianarium (0000001 – 0000010)

This is my newest series of facts and trivias which I am going to launch today here at Virily. These trivias that I’m gonna upload for now are copyrights on my Facebook page of trivia entitled Ryan’s Believe It Or Not, which I started on November 2, 2012. I used this page name before since “Ryan” is my real name and “Believe It Or Not” , for I am one of the big fans of “Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!” and an avid reader of their comics too. My page became inactive until October 16, 2015 with my 66th trivia post. Then, after some time I made up my mind lately that I need to reactivate my page since I’m blogging now at Virily, so I came up with changing it to a new page name called Traf’s Trivianarium, coz Ripley’s might sued me for using it. I requested Facebook for a change page name, but til now it can’t be changed due to the fact that my page name has already been liked by many, and they have some guidelines to follow to change the name successfully. I tried many times for the request, but I don’t know why still today, it’s still unchangeable. So if ever one of the readers here has contacts to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! publication, I am really very sorry for all of these. I know this might be a plagiaristic act, but I would just like to express my sincerest apology. That’s why I also changed my display picture too on my page, coz I used their logo and changed the name Ripley’s to Ryan’s. But don’t worry, I have no intentions to compete, all I want to envision is to spread the world with lots of fun facts and trivias that is useful to mankind and can be regarded as one of helpful life hacks and to encourage everyone not to be deceived by fake details but stick to the facts that are proven and can be useful for our daily struggles in life.

Why I used Traf’s Trivianarium? Traf is short for Trafalgar Law, my pseudonym as a blogger, whilst Trivianarium is my own coined word which I derived on two words combined as one: “trivia” and “imaginarium” (from the movie “The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus”).

So starting today, I will be posting 10 different trivias with pictures. You can post your comments and share your ideas if you agree or disagree on each trivias I featured. I know that some of you won’t believe these unbelievable facts and it’s already been my anticipation. But, don’t worry I’ll respect your points of view, coz we all do have differently. I may not believe some of these too as true facts, I just want to hear others’ shout outs regarding these fun facts.

So here they are, enjoy reading them, and don’t forget to share.

TRIVIA 0000008: Did you know that Iguanas, koalas and Komodo dragons all appear to have two penises? To clarify, though, they have a single penis, but it is split in two (pretty much 'Y'-shaped.) This organ is known as a hemipenes. Snakes also share this interesting feature. Apparently, the dual penis is for ease of left-handed or right-handed mating. Also, at least in snakes, the semen does not flow through a vessel (like in mammals), but rather, a groove." Male humans have that also rare penile disorder known as "diphallic terrata" or "two penises".

  1. Very informative. I have learned frog from horse’s hoof, swan has penis and koalas have two penises, and fleas are being studied by pullicologist who is a zoologist.
