You would have thought they would have let me just win one game of “Sorry”, but no they sent me home every chance they got. We had a great meal. We played games. We listened to music. All was fun and calm. The left the house with hugs, kisses and a plan to meet up when I get home. They better be ready to play sorry no holds barred.
The hugs were a little longer. My tender hearted one cried and I said “Those better be happy tears that I get to take with me on my little trip. I will make sure to send you a card every day. Remember that snail mail takes time so some of it won’t get there until I am back home.”
Then he said the words that let me know he understands more than I realized. No matter what home you end up in will you always be able to feel my love.
“Absolutely! I know my Mom sees me and you every day. We will be fine. Our love is strong and together we said it again
“today, tomorrow, forever and always.”
I really enjoyed reading this blog since it was written from your heart.
