This is a very colourful and friendly tattoo convention – an annual meeting place for tattoo artists (famous professionals & beginners) from Scandinavia and other countries all over the world. It is held at the Cable Factory – the largest Finnish cultural centre (Tallberginkatu 1 00180 Helsinki).
Helsinki Ink program usually includes such events as presenting the last artworks of different tattoo artists, awarding prizes for the best tattoos, different tattoo art contests and so on. If you want to get a high-quality tattoo, you should catch this chance. And if you are a tattoo-artist, you really must go there to get new fans of your artworks!
Also there you can watch performances of rock and metal bands, take part in after-party and to taste the Nordic snacks with a glass of beer!

I once saw a guy with a ribbon of futhark winding all the way down his arm- it made me think of Wotan’s spear. This post reminded me of him…

I have nothing against some minor tattoos ..But I do not like when the entire body is tattooed.
Think the same, but it does not prevent me from admiring the interesting tattoos on other people! 🙂
