Nobody actually knows how we are doing this

Nobody actually knows how we are doing this. Writing for the living is kind of an non-existent lifestyle in the place where I come from. All my friends and relatives do something ‘real’ so explaining to them what exactly my job consist of if more than a complicated and hard task.

I tried but it didn’t make much of a difference. Because the first question is always how much do you make per month. Ok, I can understand where they are coming from. We all have the bills to pay and most of them just want to make a quick money. Because, in their minds, if I can do it, they can do it better.

I have to admit there are months when I make a bare minimum so sharing that detail with them gives a fruitful ground for lots of shaming and I am not interested to listen to that.

It is easy to be evil unless they put in the calculation how many of the internet venues can bring in money months after and you don’t need to do much effort to sustain a constant inflow.

Of course, it includes a preparation, dedication, and work which is impossible to explain to a person who expects hard cash right away.

It is just not worth an effort, so I just leave them to swim on their own and explore if that is a type of a job they want to try.
