Cabinet approves Minimum Support Prices for Raw Jute for 2018-19 season
Minimum Support Price for Raw Jute for the financial year 2018-2019 has been fixed and approved by the Union Cabinet of India under the Chairman Ship of Honorable Prime Minister of India.
The Criteria fixed for the said purpose is that a fair average quality of Raw Jute per quintal would be INR 3700 REVISING the earlier price of INR 3500.

Many Farming activist including farmers of jute do not look so happy as mere increase in INR 200 is not enough to boost their debt ridden distress situation which somehow also truthful.

Since 2014, farmers of India neither happy over the stand of government for their help nor in fact they got anything good as they were expecting during 2014’s general Election.
But after this cabinet approval of increased MSP by the cabinet committee, the Government claimed,”the MSP would yield returns of 63.2 percent over the weighted average A2+FL cost of Production.”
Just think, Can little educated farmers in India able to understand this above mentioned economic Calculation and principles?
Even the JCI(Jute Corporation of India) also directed to act as the appropriate Nodal Agency to undertake a helping hand in operation of MSP in various jute growing states of India.

In the recent past, just after the farmers revolution across India including National capital(Delhi) and Economic Capital, the union govt. also had declared MSP for various crops. But a true farmer leader, Shree Yogendra Yadav by initiating a self research and survey going to various Crop Markets of the Nation found, no MSP is given to farmers of India which the Government had fixed and ordered.
This is the facts on ground in regard to development initiatives taken by a democratic government for the country’s one of the strongest pillar who in real develop the economy by trying their best.
