Meet our cat family

Feral cats visiting us is a regular feature. Preiti our dog who we lost a few months ago would take quite a while to befriend them. We now have them moving freely around and we have adopted a family – mother and her two kids.

After we lost Preiti this cat started visiting us often. Although Preiti and cats got along well she would take time to accept them. This cat was still not accepted. Here you see her sitting where Preiti normally sat.

Next day the cat came with a kitten. We adopted both of them. We named him Lolly IV. We had 3 Lollies earlier.

Little did we know she was pregnant and she delivered this little one in our guest bedroom. We kept her as well and named her Pinkie.

Lolly by then grew into a beautiful cat and accepted Pinkie lovingly

The mother and son had a great bonding. Here the little one is not interested in eating with them as she was still being breast fed

Gradually Pinkie started eating solid food with her mother and brother

Here the mother is watching her little ones having fun. They played a lot in the garden climbing trees and playing hide and seek.

But soon the mother showed indifference and even left the house. She would snarl at both of them the moment she saw them

With no mother around both Lolly and Pinkie became close and their love for each other has been amazing

They cling to each other every moment of the day

The mother cat comes but they are friends no more.

The mother is back but just for food They are no longer friendly

This is a beautiful story of the two kittens, Lolly IV and Pinkie. Did the mother never return back? She must have had issues.
Good to see Lolly teaching Pinkie some tricks and their blinding is awesome.
