How to Deal with Breakup

Our heart breaks for so many pieces and can breathe at the same time. People who had experienced such intense pain can relate to such feeling. It can be more striking if it happens in a long relationship. The world turned upside down and spins oneself in all directions after the breakup without seeing it coming. Some people cannot believe that years being together will snap like fingers. It is a disbelief feeling that breaks down a person with so much depression and lost in the middle of tearing apart.

There are so many ways to handle such breakup. However, it varies from one soul to another. The normal process of being in the bad spirit of breaking up is like destroying oneself what went wrong. The worst case, they blame themselves for not working up the relationship that it is supposed to be. This is the early stage of being in depress and eventually, it will change its course as following the Stages of Grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance) that was being researched by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross.

How to mend a broken heart:

1. Have a Good Cry

There is nothing wrong if you isolate yourself and cry out in the four-corner of the room. This is the best time to think and feel what’s really from within. Sometimes it can’t bear the loss of breathing pattern because of such full-blown emotions. For some people, it can help to put them into writings. Cry it over while reading the compositions over and over again.

2. Have a Blast of Doing Some Activities

It is healthy to do activities that brushed off the bad memories of such breakup. Socializing with other people with the same passion and interest can bring back the old self and eventually, a time to love oneself again despite the pain from within. It is not easy but things will be fine as the days go by.

3. Healthy Food Trip

For some people who are in depression eat a lot of food. It channels their way of releasing the tension creating because of being a troubled soul. It is far better to munch healthy food. It is also a good start to be fit and fabulous again in the eyes of others. This is the best start to rebuild oneself and getting ready to open the heart for next person to be loved.
