Houston businessman does his good deed for first responders

Jim McVingale who is the owner of a furniture store in Houston Texas is famous for his good deeds to his customers. McVingale’s showed his heart of gold when he allowed the citizens of Houston after  Hurricane Harvey struck the city, he opened his furniture store to the citizens who were out of a home to stay in his place of business as a temporary shelter until they could back on their feet.

McVingale who owns the Gallery Furniture store in Houston then paid for a group of first response team members airplane tickets to attend a World Series game in Los Angeles California between the Houston Astros vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles during the 2017 World Series as his way of saying “thank you” to the rescue team mission who assisted in helping the people that were affected by Hurricane Harvey. I know he did that gesture to the rescuers as a “thank you” for their hard work helping the people who were stuck in their flooded houses.

McVingale believes that he can be successful as a businessman by learning to be a person who cares for his customers and not give them bad service at his furniture store.

At least there are some honorable businessmen in the Houston area who opened their doors to assist those people in need. My hat is off to Jim McVingale for caring for people by using the give rules of life instead of the “What is in it for me” view of running his business when he does good deeds for his customers.

    • That is very true since the media had a field day reporting the bad news of a minister who refused to let flood victims inside his church because it was flooded.
