Different Ways To Make Money

Of course, getting a job would be on the top of this list, but today I will talk about ways you can make money without from home. Now, there are many blogs out there that discuss this topic, but I am going to just talk about the apps and websites I have tried.

Not to sound desperate(I am very desperate), but I have tried so many money making apps and websites. Can you blame me? The only job I am able to get is at Kroger’s, and they won’t call me back. My parents also believe in working for your money, so they don’t provide me with money for anything I want. Since I am anti-social, I have a lot of free time which means I have time to go through a lot of apps and websites. Without further ado, here’s my list of money making ways.

  • Favorites

Swagbucks: I have gotten multiple payments from them, and it’s very easy. It took me about a week to collect enough money for a $25 Amazon card

Virily: I actually just started this website, but it’s an easy way to get money while do something I love. I have seen many people get their money from them, and some websites are saying it takes 1,000 Virils to $1 (but of course it varies)

myLot: This website is like Virily, but you can see how much money you are collecting and not in point form. Just like Virily, you can get points/money for your activity and feedback. You can get paid once you collect $5.00.

  • Surveys

Survey Junkie: I personally don’t use this one because I use Swagbucks the most, but you can get money by doing surveys. This a point system too, and it’s 100 points per dollar. You can cash once you obtain $10 or 1,000 points.

Toluna: Toluna is a survey and content type of website. You can do surveys, but you can also post your opinions. This website also uses the point system. You get 500 points when you sign up, but you need at least 30,000 points to get a gift card from the stores. It takes a while to get that many points.

  • Scan Items and receipts

Checkpoints: you scan items in stores and you get points for it

Ibotta

Shopkick

Fetch Rewards: Turn Grocery Receipts into Rewards

  • Play Games

App Flame: Most of these games on this list will have the same formula. How this works is you download a game from there recommended and they pay you(points) for playing the game. It’s all dependent on how long you play the game

Coin Pop

  • Giveaways

100% real) Free Giveaway Free Gift Cards and Gifts: This is more reliant on chance, but a lot have said that they’ve won on it. I kept it for one week before I got tired of it.

  • Others

Transcription: This is a job that takes little effort or professionalism. This blog tells a lot more about this topic and some of the websites you go to apply for it: 13 Transcription Jobs That Don’t Require Experience.

Reading: I’ve never had any luck with these websites, but you might. This blog tells about 20 sites that will pay you to read books

  1. Mylot pays really poorly, considering the amount of time you spend on the site.

A lot of people don’t even make payout monthly, which sadly, is just $5. I would stick with it only as a way to have fun and not to earn any serious living.
