If it’s years since I rode a bike on the country graveled road, I should dare to make it a point of trying it again. It’s even more fun and easy now that I’m older.
Pump those tires. Grease those chains. Muscle-up my legs and get to riding again. It’s now the time to set up for me a more strenuous challenge before I walk the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia. Cycling should prep me up, I suppose, for more adventures I dream of doing.
I don’t intend to welcome retirement without this ambitious extra-mile ride on my to-do list. What do you think? Do you think I’m crazy?

No you are not. I still love to take my bike for a spin during the warmer months.
we got a tandem bike about two years ago, it is really fun to get out and ride!
You can do this!
You are not crazy. You are doing the right thing. We have to live adventures until the last day of our lives. Well done!!!!

You are not crazy at all. Go for it All the best.
Your posts are always awesome and inspiring!
I used to ride bikes when I was growing up and also when was older. When I was a lot older I thought I wanted to buy a bike but just sat on it. I froze and was worried I would fall off and needed to be around for my cat.
Of course you are not crazy, I admire you for doing this. Enjoy the moments!
It’s very healthy. Do not hesitate.
Go ahead , it would be good experience for you
