The Professional Year Program has graduated from a university in Australia, which is a structured professional advancement program involving the experience of the office job and employment environment for global students.

Upon completion of the Professional Year Program, eligible candidates may also be qualified to get marks for their permanent residence under the skilled immigration route.

Professional Year programs are executed for one year and are currently offered in the field of accounting, computer technology, and engineering – the Australian market where the requirement for professional graduates is huge.

Professional year programs are primarily established for students wishing to gain an immovable Australian residence. They allow students to build field – particular capabilities through enquires and job participation; they prepare them for Australian business professionals’ occupations.

The professional year program was established to maintain the supply of skilled staff in engineering, information technology, and accounting areas.  The Migration and Border Protection Department only accepts the Professional Year Program which has been approved by the federal authority.

In Australia, you have to complete a degree in Accounting, Computer Technology or Engineering (or Carefully Seated Area). You should keep a knowledge-graduate (short-term) visa (subclass 485), in which you can stay in Australia after 18 months of completion of your degree.

To be eligible for this visa, you need to be under 50 years of age, have attained qualification as a minimum 2-year result of a research study in Australia in the last 6 months and the required certificate for passport And the qualifications are on the experienced business listing.

Requirements for admission:

Participants should qualify for the professional year program:

  • In a wonderful field of study, Australia has completed a bachelor or postgraduate award.
  • Hold for a temporary graduate visa (subclass 485, or section) with the validity of at least 12 months or apply,
  • Hold a qualified media visa with the right to work and study the validity of at least 12 months
  • Complete English Language Requirements
  • Accounting: IELTS 6.0 composite and at least 6.0 each band
  • IT: There is no band below 5.0 IELTS 6.0 overall
  • Engineering: IELT 6.0 is not a band below 5.0 overall
  • Received a valid skill assessment from a proficiency professional association (SMIPA and Engineering).
