I feel like a little kitten who knows nothing! I think if I could face what I have to learn with wonderment, it would be a much happier situation. I been running things through my mind and going back to things I learned and trying to figure out what has changed. (Yes I am much older and I can’t do anything about that.)
I remember making some notes in my journal years ago that helped me set some reasonable goals and I found some successes, so I dug them back out. Here it is in a nutshell version.
Know it ~ Do the research and know what it takes to accomplish the goal. Learn what is involved so you can practice and be confident in the steps you are taking.
See it ~ Some people use vision boards. Other people close their eyes and imagine how easy things become. See yourself becoming more and more successful.
Say it ~Listen to your inner dialogue. Are you encouraging yourself? If you are turn your statements around and be positive. Write down the negative ones and shred them. Do whatever it takes so your words turn positive.
Feel it ~ Celebrate the little successes on the way. When feel it, there is a memory and a way for the brain to get back to that feeling.
I am going to have to listen to my own advice and get cracking!
As long as you’re taking a step, no matter how small, it’s good!
Very sound advises from yourself!
You actually know what to do all these while, you just have to believe in yourself!
I guess I am the one in control. Thanks for the advice of believing in myself.
Take it one step at a time. One small success at a time can lead you to more important and larger successes…Get cracking and keep a positive attitude. Don’t get discouraged. Use any failures to make you stronger and more determined.
Oh I have plenty of failures to reflect on. I guess it would best to learn the lesson the first time.
Sadly I am leaving Virily. I will continue to keep in touch with you through MyLot.
you deserve some happy thoughts!
Sending some your way!!!!
Why thank you. And every time I see a picture or read your words I smile. Every single time.
aww
thanks!
I always smile when I see the picture you’ve selected for your post. You have an eye for interesting pictures!
Celebrate small successes along the way. I like this. The small successes really make me happy. There are things I do with a lot of hard work, and they warm my soul.
Then you are going to the example that I will follow. Thanks for the inspiration.
I like that last phrase you said – get cracking.
My father said that a lot. I am remembering more now that he is gone. Odd.
Yes, feel it, we have feeling and should fill our life with joys and good memory. Bless.
Yes, if I can truly feel it that will be helpful.
