And Comes the Fourth Generation – 96

So Selma Rashford Grindley dies at Miriam House.  Dies feet and yards from the tenants.

Selma Rashford Grindley was nothing more than a mere ‘matron’ hired to sit in the front house and report on the tenants, none of whom she could evict or question.

Selma dies on the last day of July, in that front house.  Not in a hospital, not in her son’s home, but here, at her ‘work place’.

August passes, some of her property is sold, some remains.  September begins, and her property gathers dust while her son meanders.

Those who would to install another matron, must wait.  They must wait on the determination of Selma’s son, Joe.
